Trek is well aware that every second counts, so their Speed Concept 7.5 is all about denying the clock. Optimum aerodynamics and serious speed come from the full-carbon frame that uses unique Kammtail shapes that cheat the wind even when it's coming from the side. Other aero tricks include hidden brakes, cables and a computer sensor that's built into the chainstay. Even the wheel quick releases hide from the wind, while the Bontrager tires do their part optimizing airflow. Beyond just aero, it's also a rocket when hammering on the pedals, providing excellent pedaling efficiency for maximum speed whether you go short or long. And the 7.5 boasts a proven Shimano Ultegra/Dura-Ace parts group for pro-level shifting while powering the light, aero Bontrager wheels.

My first test ride proved to be true bike love! This machine is a beast. Trek knew what they were doing and in this bike lies the proof. The Speed Concept is sleek, nimble, fast and responsive. Be prepared to take your "game" to the next level with this one. I have experienced nothing but more speed and growth as a triathlete. I found the mechanics of the bike to be easy to handle (once learned). Just be sure to take a few minutes with your local Trek dealer for an explanation of how the bike fits together. Worth every dollar.
