Charlotte Double Century Ride 2020

Our annual 200-mile bike ride around Charlotte and the surrounding areas is back!

This ride will roll from the Trek Bicycle Store of North Charlotte (off of Harris Boulevard across from Northlake Mall) and make our way around Charlotte and the surrounding areas. We will meet at the store at 4:30 am with a mandatory pre-ride meeting at 4:45am. Wheels down at 5am!

Along the route, we will hit Mt. Holly, Belmont, Lake Wylie, Pineville, Ballantyne, Weddington, Hemby Bridge, Harrisburg, Concord, Kannapolis, Landis, Mooresville and Huntersville.

****Pace will be kept around 18 mph****

(I would really prefer we had two groups, one that did 20 mph and one that did 17 mph, but depending on how many people show up and the ride groups, we might have to take an average of both and keep it at 18.)

This is a non-supported ride, but the route features plenty of gas stations and rest stops along the way. We will be hitting all of the Trek Stores of Charlotte along the way, so you can refuel if needed.

This ride is capped at 35 participants. Use the link below to sign up on Facebook, or contact Alex Darnell at the Lake Norman store at 704-663-8812.

Tire Changing Clinic

Every Saturday at 3pm, we host a free clinic teaching the how-to's of changing a flat tire. You can even bring your own bike to practice on!

This hands-on clinic takes place at all three of our stores, every Saturday.

Check out the Facebook group to RSVP or ask questions.

Cheers to 2019

2019 was an incredible year for Trek of CLT. We participated in or hosted over 30 events and celebrated over 2000 New Bike Days! We wouldn't be here without our awesome customers, and it is our pleasure to ride bikes with you. We have enjoyed every minute of cheering you on as you achieved new goals, raced your bikes, learned how to ride, or rediscovered the joy of riding. We’re excited to see what this next decade brings. Thank you!
