Buy. Ride. Recycle.

We want to help you ride responsibly. That’s why we partnered with Call2Recycle to turn Trek stores into official e-bike battery recycling centers and help keep our landfills free of harmful waste.

How It Works

Step 1: Visit Us

Stop in to your closest Trek of CLT shop and talk with our e-bike experts to find the best electric bike for you.

Step 2: Ride it and love it

This is the fun part. Ride your e-bike to work, school, the grocery store, and anywhere else your heart desires. Most batteries will last between 5 to 10 years, for thousands of fun adventures!

Step 3: Recycle your battery

When your e-bike battery reaches its end-of-life, return it to the store to be responsibly recycled.

Why It's Important

In the United States, over 12 million electric bikes are estimated to be sold between 2020 and 2030. That means 12 million batteries will go directly into our landfills if they aren’t responsibly recycled.
